MATCHING FLAT-BOTTOMED BOWLS ARE AVAILABLE for water, or pets who don’t need a slow feeder. Order together, and I’ll do my best to match them as perfectly as possible in terms of finish and size.
WANT YOUR PET’S NAME ON THEIR BOWL? No problem! Personalized bowls are available for a $28 per bowl surcharge. Please email me about options.
TURNAROUND TIME FOR DELIVERY or PICK-UP: I make these bowls regularly, and ship orders out in the order they are received. I also try to keep pre-made bowls in stock in every finish / size I offer. Depending on whether or not your bowl is in stock, and where I am in the production cycle when you order is placed, it can take anywhere from 2 days to 5 weeks for your order to ship. Most orders ship within 3 weeks. Custom and personalized bowls can take up to 5 weeks to ship.
I SUPPORT RESCUES! For every 20 bowls I sell, I set one aside for donation to a reputable rescue organization. If you’re involved with a rescue organization, please reach out to me about a donation!
SAFETY: Your pet’s safety is important to me! I use certified non-toxic clay and 100% lead-free glazes for your pet’s safety. I do not recommend that my bowls be offered to pets in their crates, as repeated contact with the sides of the crate can blemish the surface and ultimately create vulnerabilities in the ceramic structure of the bowl.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: My bowls are durable and can be placed in the dishwasher, although hand-washing is always recommended for handmade pottery. You can also place my bowls in the microwave or oven with appropriate care; please use caution when offering heated food to your pet as the bowl itself can become warm to the touch, too.
NO-SLIDE OPTIONS: Many of my customers affix rubber feet to the bottom of the bowls to help keep them in place. This works well, so if Fluffy wants to push their bowl around, give it a try!
ELEVATED STANDS: My bowls work best with elevated stands that support them from the bottom. Drop-in stands are not recommended, and are difficult to fit due to variations in clay shrinkage. I recommend stands that have a solid surface on which the bowl can sit, a lip to protect them from sliding off onto the floor, and – when more than one bowl is placed on a stand – a bumper of sorts to stop them from being pushed into one another.
STOCK PHOTOS: Variations naturally occur in sizing and glazing, as is typical with the handmade process, and your bowl may not exactly match the product photographed. I do for consistency, though, and match the surface and size as best as possible for bowls puchased as a set. Thank you for understanding!
